Dutch-based gaming seat company Playseat has recently signed a licensing agreement with Red Bull Racing for production of amazing F1 game simulator. Targeted towards F1 fans, this simulator gives the real F1 race experience without leaving comfort of home. Playseat designed and developed this game simulator and branded with Red Bull Racing logo and features colors of Austrian F1 team.

Playseat F1 Redbull simulator reproduce accurate driving position of a Formula 1 car with seat angled back and pedals elevated which gives the feeling of sitting in a real cockpit. In addition to cool paint scheme, the simulator is upholstered with a bucket seat with vinyl upholstery and red double stitching design that looks like high quality leather. Front part of simulator is shaped like nose of a Formula 1 car. It features a fully adjustable Black coated steel framework and a G27 gearshift support.

According to Fernando Smit, founder of Playseat, the launch of Playseat F1 game seat represents final step in bringing worlds of racing and gaming seamlessly together. He said “The time that people raced, perched on a kitchen chair with a racing wheel clamped to the table, have been gone for some time now, but the new Playseat formula takes virtual racing to a completely new level. The interaction with the racing game is unrivaled. The user feels every bump in the road surface. People will experience the race as if they are real racing drivers.”

The simulator is compatible with Playstation2, Playstation3, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii and PC. Moreover, it works with all steering wheel and pedal sets available on the market. Playseat F1 game seat will be available from Sept 2011 for EURO 949,00.
